A little bit about me? I am a 1st generation Asian American - My name is Jerlyn and I am a 30-something year old is sharing her love of all things 90s and 2000s. As a true millennial, the 90s and 2000s culture is embedded in me.

Passion for Budgeting -

I was never good at handling money. The education system in America does not teach you how to use, save, spend and invest your money. So once I got my first corporate job in my twenties, I made so much money that I spent every dollar the second I got it. I would sometimes live paycheck to paycheck from all of the frivolous spending, shopping and eating out. I remember one month in 2018 I spent $2,500 on eating out. JUST EATING OUT! That's when I knew I needed to change my habits and discovered the wonders of budgeting.

I realized that budgeting wasn't about restricting yourself. It gives you the ability to still do all the things you want in life without the guilt. That is what I hope everyone experiences. You can have a fun eventful life without worrying about the next bill.
